The Charlotte Checkers are scoring goals like they've never done in their 17-year ECHL history.
Charlotte has scored six or more goals in five straight games, and is the ECHL's highest-scoring team (4.33 goals per game).
The latest outburst was a 6-3 victory at Gwinnett on Thanksgiving night, in which Daniel Tkaczuk had a hat trick and two assists. Randy Rowe, playing his first game of the season after returning from an injury, had a goal and two assists. The Checkers also had goals from Jean-Philipp Chabot and Matt Schepke.
Charlotte has 65 goals in 15 games, and a 10-3-2 record.
